Environmentally-friendly: The new road-going M81 and M82 portable compressors from Kaeser Kompressoren meet the most stringent clean air legislation.
The new M81 and M82 ensure full compliance with the strictest emissions levels in their performance class, namely IIIB and TIER 4 Final.
Whilst the M81 features a Deutz engine with an oxidising catalytic converter, the M82 is equipped with a Kubota engine and diesel particulate filter, which also meets the most stringent of clean air legislation.
Both machines have a drive power of round about 55 kW and therefore enable the premium quality Sigma Profile airends to achieve identical flow rates from 5.5 to 8.4 m³/min at maximum pressures between 7 and 14 bar. Consequently, the compressed air supply is more than sufficient to meet the needs of dry-ice blasting, sand-blasting and breaker applications. Furthermore, in combination with an integrated tool lubricator, the patented Anti-Frost control protects pneumatic drills, breakers and other connected tools from potential damage caused by freezing and corrosion. In addition, the numerous available compressed air treatment variants with aftercooler and heat feedback enable infinite control of compressed air discharge temperature to suit the needs of the specific application, such as sandblasting for example.
Internal controller ensures consistently perfect operation
Both compressor models come equipped with the Sigma Control Smart compressor controller, which means that compressor operation couldn’t be simpler. The colour display provides a convenient overview of all operating parameters, alarm notifications and upcoming required maintenance. It also enables reliable and convenient start-up at the push of a button as well as straightforward and precise reductions in the working pressure down to 5 bar, in increments of 0.1 bar – for perfect adjustment to on-site conditions. In the M82, which can be optionally equipped with either an 8.5 or 13 kVA generator, this advanced controller ensures maximum compressed air availability in relation to power consumption.
According to required preferences, the M81 and M82 are available as numerous chassis and stationary variants with a wide range of additional options. This ability to tailor specific features according to requirement ensures that each machine is not only highly dependable and can be used under the toughest of operating conditions, but is also environmentally-friendly and welcome in any low emissions zone.
